I am out doing a rain dance for some moisture to fall form the sky. My yard is so dry it has stopped growing I havn't mowed in 3 weeks. I save all water from spring for the Garden it is looking good.

Hi Diana:
It finally rained for an hour here in Louisiana. My yard looked scorched! Hopefully I'll beable to mow. I'm going to cut the grass with the setting set high. No more scalping for me. LOL

I wish you a nice, long, gentle soaking rain. We're in a drought here as well, but I'm recycling all the dirty goose-pool water (and dish water, and tub water) into our small pasture patches. This helps keep a bit of green fodder available for the chickens and geese.
