Oh I love the weather! I just got home from running errands and the clouds opened up on top of my head! The rain is really coming down, but only from one cloud mass! All around the sky is sunny! It's raining so hard it is knocking the pollen off the pine flowers in big puffs of yellow and the sound of the rain hitting my mounted-in-the-wall air conditioner almost sounds like rain on a tin roof. It is even starting to hit the windows! This is so great!

Today it rained in Lake Stevens, which is about 35 minutes north of Seattle. It was a lovely rain...my first since returning home from my long trip to Mexico. The smell was simply amazing! It was calming and woody and wonderful!

No kidding, Kristine. I'm smack dab in the middle of Seattle, and this afternoon has been the sunniest I've seen in ... over 2 weeks?!?!

Has it really been that long? I know this city is known world-wide for it's rainy weather (it's [usually] a dirty lie, by the way) but WHERE DID MY SUMMER GO?! Oh well. I've got finals this week, so at least I'm not missing anything by staying cooped up all weekend studying.

It's been raining here in western WA, again, for days.....
I love liquid sunshine, but the warming, bright stuff would be awesome.

Blessings,
