Yesterday was gorgeous - about 77 degrees. But as I worked in the yard I noticed Thunderheads forming all around us. They weatherman had said that thunderstorms would stay east of the cascades and not make it to the valley - boy was he wrong! At about 6:30 pm, DH and I walked into our little neighborhood village and had a burger and then stopped at the video store for some movies - as we started back home the sky turned gray and it started to sprinkle. We just made it back, got settle into a movie, when it started to pour and then the thunder and lightening came out. It thundered and rolled over the house for about and hour plus, with big bursts of lightening. Poor kitties were scared and all 3 hid behind chairs or under the bed. Quite the sight last night. Today it is cool and showery.

its in the upper 80's and very humid. There are some thunder clouds moving in. We haven't had rain in over a week. A good hard storm would be nice.
