Posted - Mar 31 2008 : 07:17:19 AM Jeesh..we had such a nice sunny day on Saturday that I thought Spring had finally sprung..but yesterday in the afternoon the snow started again and we ended up with about 2 inches at least last night..heavy wet snow. The power went out while we were eating supper at 7pm and came back on at 10-pm. It was a nice quiet evening by oil lamp and candlelight..I liked that part for sure. We are supposed to have more snow today and then back to the sunshine. I sure hope so!

Posted - Apr 02 2008 : 06:24:37 AM Our temps keep going up and down! All clothes are fair game; from fleece and Uggs to shorts and flipflops. Ah, SPRING! Jenny, the powerless night sure does sound good. I keep telling myself to remember the snow and cold days in August... Sharon PS Supposed to get rain today! :)

Posted - Apr 01 2008 : 10:36:58 PM I only received seven inches here, but enough is enough already. I am itching to open some windows for longer than fifteen minutes.

Posted - Apr 01 2008 : 9:56:46 PM It was snowing when I went to work yesterday but it didn't stick for very long. Then this morning I got up and had to scrap ice off the car windows! It's April 1st for heavens sake! But the day was beautiful and clean with lots of sunshine. Supposed to be cold again in the AM but more sunshine during the day.
I think I'd pay for a 75 degree day about now!

Posted - Apr 01 2008 : 7:53:55 PM Oh no, girls! We've just had it so wet here, now that it's difficult to get things planted. Noone will deliver soil for my new beds...but it's not snow, so I'm gonna quit my griping!!!!

Posted - Mar 31 2008 : 09:05:30 AM I love snow but it's getting rather silly . Im ready for it to quit until next winter when I'll be eager to see it again. Jenny that sounds like such a peaceful evening, but sorry about the power going out. Maybe I'll just turn off the computer and lights and light lamps and give myself a "power out" evening. It does sound like it was a good quiet time
As for the snow up here, there is no predicting the weather these days...

Posted - Mar 31 2008 : 08:31:53 AM Yup! It snowed again here too! Ick. Ugh. It seems silly to have the wheat fields green and growing while snow keeps falling every other day.
