The girls and I went up to the big city (SLC) to see "Disney Princesses on Ice" this afternoon. (a friend who works at the local radio station got us free tickets and we met her and her girls and neices there) and we did a little shopping too..on the way home we got hit with a quick white out snowstorm while driving on the freeway. (the last 45 min of our drive home is 2 lane..this was the part before that) we were going 20 miles an hour on the freeway that is usually 75MPH and I was scared to death. Of course my cell phone picked then to quit working too..dang thing...so when I finally got to the town where the freeway ends for us and the canyon and backroad driving starts I stopped and used a pay phone on shakey legs and called husband, who said that the storm was going north so we had already been through the worst of it. So..we kept going. I was so shakey I honestly thought of getting a motel room. If you know me you know that I NEVER purposely want to stay in a motel..I HATE them! So I was pretty scared. Anyway...we went on, and made it home fine..but I am too tired and shakey to sleep now. UGH!
The ice show was really good, by the way..we had a blast at that.
I just can't get over having blizzard conditions on March 15th..jeesh!!

I know just how you felt! Those shaky legs, been there. So glad you did the smart thing and drove carefully and stopped and called home. Good job! You did it, mom!

Gosh Jenny!!!! I'm glad you are okay!
Do you remember when you lived in California, that we Californians don't know how to drive in ANY kind of weather!!!! It starts to drizzel and we all start freakin out!!! I don't know what I would do in a snow storm -pull over and start crying!!! LOL! hugs!

Beware the "ice" of March! Glad you made it home safely. (Hope you gat all the Easter dresses too!) We woke up to about two inches of snow this morning, nothing like yours, but with all the flat-landers around here, making it just as dangerous on the roads! Take care, stay warm and drive safe.

We got some snow as well, but not like in Utah. Hell, this is getting old.

Jenny, you're so brave to drive in those conditions. I'm a coward with that sort of thing. Happy to hear you're home with the kids and your husband.
