I can hear water running under the snow, but we are up on a little hill and the worse we will likely suffer is a badly flooded driveway and smelly, muddy wet dogs.... I hope. I am counting on a hopefully slow melt and not on of those 60 degree super thaws. But whole parts of the land around me will be under water and it should make for some good photo work. We have had standing water, but have not flooded badly in the past. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I hope that everyone is safe and warm. The wind is restless and hungry sounding whipping around my little homethese past two days.

I hope it doesn't melt too fast and flood you out Annika! Especially with all the water stored on the ground in snow right now. I am sure the Paradise Creek will be full in a week or two.

Is the creek by you already melted and running, or is it still frozen over?
