Some places in my yard, the snow is up to my hips!! I tossed the ball for Sky and she had to bound through the snow and some of the spots were over her head! And it is still coming down!

It is an El Nina year, but this is breaking records that have stood for the last 25 years.

Plus I set a new record! Having to get towed 4 times in 2 days by good samaritians! My poor little car just doesn't have the clearance!

Lob a snowball at him just for me. I'm a Seattle girl =) the scallywag deserves a few snowballs just cuz. We get exceptional snow every few years, no predicting. I "think" it is an El Nina year and they tend to bring greater snowfall. Am I right girls?

Patricia, welcome to Idaho. You never know what you're going to get here (weather-wise).

Bonney Lake, near Puyallup, Wa. But I am really an Oregon girl. So I am used to wind and freezing rain.

Well, Patricia, I wish you luck on your move. Your neighbor probably wasn't lying. We didn't really get any snow here either last year. What little we did get would get rained on the same day and turn it to slop. Then it would freeze at night and we had frozen bumps everywhere. Last year was a miserable year for us snow lovers. But hit your neighbor with a snowball, just for giggles, anyway.

Where did you move from?

My neighbors built an igloo, and a very realistic snowman. So realistic that it sorta freaked me out. During the summer I asked my husbands friend about the winter weather, before we decided to move here. He said it didn't snow at all last year. Is he a liar? does he deserve a snowball?

My husband came home from work this morning to shovel the roof. Apparently they cancelled high school today in Bonners Ferry, for fear of the roof colapsing! It was up to his knees on the roof. We are supposed to move into our new house this weekend. Wish us luck.

Hope you have a ladder, Alee, just in case your roof doesn't slide. Ours is currently embedded in snow up to my chin from the last time we shoveled off the roof. Looks like we'll be doing that again. It's still coming down here also. Isn't this fun?

Yup. It's a bit crazy. I am just waiting for the snow load on the roof to get so great that it just slides off. I am also starting to worry about it maybe NOT sliding off! Yikes!

Heh, yup, we are up to our undies in it here! And it is snowing like crazy still! My poor little Pomeranian looked out and hid behind my legs I had to dig a spot for him. The other two dogs are loving it.

I'm a little envious, Alee. I'd LOVE to have one big snow here in Kentucky...doesn't look like that will happen for us, though
