Statement as of 10:53 PM PST on January 18, 2008

... Snow and Blowing Snow Advisory remains in effect from 10 am
Saturday to 4 PM PST Sunday...

A Snow and Blowing Snow Advisory remains in effect from 10 am
Saturday to 4 PM PST Sunday.

Snow will develop during the late morning hours Saturday and
continue on and off through the day Saturday with generally 1 to 3
inches of accumulation expected. The highest snowfall amounts will
likely be near Coeur D'Alene and in the higher elevations of the
Idaho Palouse... with the lowest amounts generally from Spokane to
Colfax and westward. After the snow begins to wind down Saturday
evening... a cold front will push across the area Saturday night.
As the cold front passes... strong northeast winds will quickly
develop. By Sunday morning... areas with a northeast exposure will
likely experience wind gusts up to 35 mph with areas of blowing
and drifting snow resulting in poor visibility and hazardous
driving conditions.

A Snow and Blowing Snow Advisory means that visibilities will be
limited due to a combination of falling and blowing snow. Use
caution when traveling... especially in open areas.

This advisory includes the following locations... Moscow...
Plummer... Potlatch... Genesee... Coeur D'Alene... Post Falls...
Hayden... Pullman... Colfax... Rosalia... La Crosse... Spokane...
Cheney... Davenport... Rockford.

Stay safe everybody...If you are driving, please be careful, especially Sunday...AND we are likely going to have a lot of very cold weather next week, down in the single digits, so stock up and make sure that you're ready for it...broken pipes are no fun

Yup! I was thinking of going to Spokane this weekend, but I think I will cancel it since there is so much open space between here and Spokane. :( Darn. Maybe I will have to head up after work on Monday or something.

Hey Annika! We are online at the same time! Go check out the HenHouse! LOL I went a bit post-crazy! (Postal?)
