I am a teacher and I will confess that I need a snow day for rest and relaxation. This is about the only day I can clean my house without feeling there is something else I should be working on! Could you girls send me some snow my way!!?? I am located in South-East Illinois on the border of Illinois-Indiana! HA HA!!

we got out at 11:30 today cause of snow. I'd really like to get tomorrow off too. We'll see.

I beleve I am getting my snow today sooooon!!!! We are expected to get anywhere from 3-8 inches of snow!!! I hope I have an extended weekend!

We home school and don't get snow days...When the local school gets a snow day, we get "Super PE Day"! Hope your snow day comes soon!

Send some my way, too, Heather! Oh, how I miss the snow down here in Arkansas. Last night, it started sleeting & I had my fingers crossed, but by morning it was just warm & rainy. Blah!

We have plenty of snow. I could send some of it to all 3 of you and still have plenty to spare. It has been snowing all day and it's really piling up, especially since we just got 4 inches earlier in the week. Our pipes are frozen in one bathtub. You girls are more than welcome to all the snow from my house you want! |

I teach too. There is a chance of snow tonight but mostly north of here. I would love a snowday too.

I hear you, sister!!!
I'm a teacher also, and am still waiting for our first snowday! I live in New York State-outside of a small town called Altamont. We've had snow, but the timing is always off. So, just a few delays so far. Honestly, the delays are worse-the schedule gets so mixed up, and the kids are so wound up!!
I'll keep wishing for a snow day for you, and could you keep wishing for one for me?

Thanks girls for the support! We had a dusting of snow overnight, but not enough to keep me home! I kept waiting for the phone to ring this morning to tell me school was cancelled, however that was not the case! "Fake it to make it!" is my motto today! HA! HA!

Can't send you snow, but can send you below zero temps in a few days. The snow is by-passing the northern Metro, and hitting Southern Minnesota and Wisconsin. Perhaps the "system" can squeeze out a few flakes for you there in Illinois.
