I don't know how or why. But the temp was 71 balmy degrees when I got back from lunch. Don't need a coat. Need some iced tea! Today was preceded by lots of rainy days(mild temps-highs in the 50's). But Saturday has the possibility of our first snow. This is just too weird! :o

Oh Donna, how sweet. I can just see your little one packing all those snow things. Oh the joy of youth! Have a safe trip and have loads of fun! Send us some cookies!

Miss Bee, you were right. Sometime stole my nice warm weather. That cute weatherman (Sam ~ I know his name - Smile) told me all about it this morning, too! Maybe we will get some flurries ... how exciting!

Blessings, Lea

I'm headin' to the farm (Eddyville,KY) this weekend to bake cookies and make candy with my aunt's. My little one - lil' belle is on pins and needles about the possibility of snow. She's already packin' the sled, snow boots, snow pants, etc. Also planning some Christmas shopping time in Paducah. Hopefully the road crews will keep the roads clear for the shoppers.

Well the rain has stopped for the moment here but we're under a flood advisory for a while longer. There was some minor flooding around here earlier. Our pond is getting full and looks like it was close to the bank this morning. We are forecasted to have a winter mix here by Saturday and I think it feels cooler out now since this morning. Our highway trash pick up was postponed this weekend due to possible bad winter weather.

"singing" Rain Rain go away, come again another day!!!!!

Yep, we're getting SNOW on Saturday, which is a blessing actually, because I simply can't wipe anymore mud from my walls where the dogs have "shaken off"

Well, Lea, we may be experiencing snow in just a few days. I know the local guys have been telling us here in KY that it's coming at us on Saturday. Then this morning, on GMA, that cute guy(blush-can't think of his name) was showing a very wide swath of snow coming this way. Maybe it will reach you there in TN.

It was 72 here in West Tennessee as well. The boys spent the afternoon building forts ~ amazing! After spending so much time in the cold Midwest, we are just enjoying the novelty of great weather in November! But I do miss the beauty & wonder of snow.

Kathy - I wouldn't mind some snow, myself. That would be better than this misty, foggy, mold causing, continuous rain. And we still haven't come above the drought table from last summer.

Well, it's warm here too in southern Kentucky. The only problem with this is seems to causes a lot of colds when it does turn cold again or makes it hard to get rid of the one you've got. Personally, I would like some snow.

Hey girls
It's 80 degrees here!! No holiday feeling to speak of.
We have been in sleeveless shirts and sandals since April of last year!!!! We hold our breath until we get a good day or two of freezing weather-
Sure makes christmas seem a long way away!Even the nights are warm enough to keep the air conditioner on.

Blessings,
Autumn

It's freakish. We've got the same thing here, too, in No. Ky, and though I'm happy the sun is out and it's dry, I don't feel much like the holiday!!! Tonight it's supposed to be chilly again and all will be right with the world

I know what you mean Janice. It's 72 here now and partly sunny, and if you stand right in the sun it's kind of hot feeling. There is a good breeze blowing though. I'm enjoying today because it just felt icky out the past two days with all that rain. We're supposed to get some snow here too Saturday, starting out with more rain first. And that's the day my husband and I are scheduled to pick up trash with our geocaching group for adopt-a-highway. Too bad it wasn't scheduled for today, that would have been nice. I just noticed that with all that rain we had the grass is greening back up a bit.
