Posted - Dec 09 2007 : 10:01:44 AM I went to let my dog out this morning... and there was ice on the trees. several transformers have already blown, so we may be without power later..the last weather report i heard said that this stuff will linger until mid week, of course they said that last year too, and it stayed until after the second ice storm hit.

Posted - Dec 12 2007 : 10:28:24 AM I live in Southeast Nebraska and we have lots of ice. But we have full power. We had a housefull last night with my husband's sister and her family. It looks like a bomb has hit. Some of the trees have only the main trunk left.

Posted - Dec 09 2007 : 11:32:28 AM I hope all that ice is gone before we're coming through next week! For some reason I think of OK as being a southern state and being warm right now. But I remember hearing about all that ice last winter. Yuk, I think we will have to come back through in the spring before it gets too hot. Do you guys get much snow, or is it usually ice?
