Lot's of wind and blowing snow here! There was a warning for six to eighteen inches last night. It's hard to tell with the wind but I bet we have at least eight.
Praying for those who have to go out in this, because I really do get a snow day!

I only live 3 miles from work and it still took me an hour and a half to get home last night! I need to find a back way to get home so I don't have to creep along the main road in the bumper to bumper traffic (got a back way to get there but it's one way streets).

But I do love the first big snow of the year. I work on the 9th floor of my building so we get a great view.

Lori, you are right across Lake O from me. Monday after noon was horrible here, luckily I live a mile from work. We are still getting quite a bit of lake effect here today.

Snow day #2 here! Yep, that's two in a row! The sun is shining right now, but there are lake effect squalls coming off Georgian Bay, so some areas are getting pounded with snow right now.

Sunday night was freezing rain, then rain, then snow, so shovelling the driveway yesterday was really tough! It's still so cold that the ice hasn't melted off the trees--sure looks pretty!

I was supposed to be working on my daughter's scarf for Christmas yesterday, but got nothing done with her home!

So, so far we've had 3 snow days and it's not even officially winter yet! They're predicting the coldest winter in 15 years for us.

Stay safe everyone.

Lori
