Posted - Dec 06 2007 : 8:26:38 PM Oh dear, I am glad its you and not me. LOL We were supposed to get some this afternoon, but it by passed us. At the very least, we will have a white Christmas. The past few years "brown" Christmases made it seem bleak and depressing.
Possibly more this weekend. yay. I can hardly wait. We have stocked the kitchen and will probably bake a lot, at least on Saturday.

Posted - Dec 05 2007 : 07:55:04 AM Kate, I don't go to the Renn Fest to work. It is waaaaay too far for me to travel.
We got about another foot yesterday so we now have about 2 1/2 feet on the ground!!

Posted - Dec 04 2007 : 9:16:49 PM It snowed here again in Minneapolis. The little town I live in received about four inches on Saturday, and about four today. I left work early to beat traffic home, and shovel. The extra time allowed for me help my older neighbor shovel her driveway. She was thrilled.
I am already tired of it. It is pretty, but I white knuckle it when driving in it.
Hey Tasha-Huzzah????? Do you by chance, go to/work at the Ren Fest in Shakopee? My Uncle has owned a booth out there for 35+ years. I work at the landscaped Chess Board, when I am not working for him.

Posted - Dec 03 2007 : 07:30:34 AM Right now we have sun and no wind, a blessing. Also a sheet of ice over everything. I kinda skated out to feed the goats this morning, when I would break through the crust it sounded so loud. Sometimes the quiet here is so intense. Supposed to have some snow tomorrow. Some of the windows are iced and the sun shining on them looks so pretty.

Posted - Dec 02 2007 : 7:03:18 PM It's raining, raining, raining here! We had a very short, but beautiful, snow yesterday and now it's rain. Plus 50 mph wind. I'd almost rather have the snow. At least you can go out and play in that.

Posted - Dec 01 2007 : 3:18:40 PM Wow Sheryl-lyn dinner sounds good, we'll be right over! We got a bit of snow here, but unfortunately it turned to sleet and now it's a sheet of ice out there. Glad we're not going anywhere tonight. Enjoy your snow Tasha, I hope get one without ice next time.
