Posted - Jun 28 2007 : 05:49:22 AM Soooo wonderful to see that storm arrive--we've gone solidly without rain since the first of May, and let me tell you, that thunder rumblin' around my house last night, and the rain pelting the metal awnings sounded like heaven to me.
More storms today/tonight = one happy flower and vege garden (and one happy me )

Posted - Jun 28 2007 : 12:04:22 PM It truly is. They've been talking it up all day, actually, and it's as sunny outside as it could possibly be. It will probably start a downpour right on the rush hour drive home ;)
Heck, even THAT would be alright!!!

Posted - Jun 28 2007 : 09:26:50 AM Jonni -- isn't the rain a blessing after a dry spell?? Living in a part of the country where we get lots of winter rain, I look foward to our dry spell in July and August. But after two months I'm ready for some wet stuff! Glad you're getting the much needed moisture.

Posted - Jun 28 2007 : 06:24:13 AM I'll cross fingers and do the rain dance tonight, Janice. Maybe that will send some your way. Probably just my dance will scare the storm enough to chase it your way
