I was watching the Weather Channel tonight and it sounds like the whole middle section of the country is in for some rough weather the next couple of days. Very warm and humid, hurricane force winds, and possible tornadoes. All you ladies that live in those areas take care!

Down here in SE Missouri we were supposed to get rain much of the night starting at midnight; instead, we got a brief (maybe 2 minutes) fierce rain around 6 a.m. today. It's very overcast, but not the dark purple stuff that spells trouble.

I'm really grateful for just the amount of rain we got. The man is here today finishing the dirt work on the yard (we get our AC on Monday), so if we'd gotten tons of rain he wouldn't be here, and if we hadn't gotten that brief downpour the dust would be horrible.

5.9inMO, I must have been gone when you joined. Where are you in MO? It's great to see another Show-Me farmgirl!!

We missed out on the rain and storms, but it finally cooled off last night because the storms came in close to the west of us. We've got sunny skies and nice temps now!

A rainy and stormy hello from Missouri! We are under tornado warnings tonight. It's been hot and windy here for the last couple of days. Most of the bad weather is just to the north of us.

It was hot, sticky and windy today. We were under a tornado watch most of the day and a warning for a little while this afternoon. Luckily it missed us. The eastern part of the state got more damage, but I haven't checked the weather channel to see. Its a little drier out now, but still quite warm. Ahhh, summer in Wisconsin!

Oh girls,,,,,,please be careful.
Amanda, my mom is in northern Ontario, and had some rain, snow, hail, and wind a couple of days ago, and said it seem to come out of no where.
