Wow what a Wonderful Warm Welcome!
Thanks, you really know how to make a newcomer feel at home.

I hope I will be able to contribute a lot as learn and be inspired by the overwhelming creativity here.

I Do Love Swaps.... and I have already joined one on this board. When you get your box back, it is like Christmas morning when you are 5 yrs old.... the world stops and you have to open the box that second.

I have been making soap and natural spa products with my own little cottage industry for 10 years this September. I have a serious fabric and yarn buying problem. If I ever get snowed in for the winter.... I have enough projects to last me months.

I sell my stuff at festivals, and this weekend is the first for the year. Keeping my fingers crossed we do well. I have soap to pour and costumes to sew.... Yikes where does the time go!

Hi Elizabeth! Welcome! You will love it here, there's so many great gals. I am learning to spin and my mom is going to teach me to use her loom, I've just not had time yet. She gave me her old spinningwheel the other day, I just posted a picture of it on my blog the other day.
~~Blessings, Mikki

Hi Elizabeth...I'm Jamie Ann, I'm in Michigan...not too far. I have always wanted to learn to make soap...and knit, actually. I also like to sew. The closest I've ever came to spinning was visting a place here in Michigan called Lavendar and Fleece. The lady there grows many different varieties of lavendar, didn't know there were that many. She also raises all sorts of "fiber" animals...sheep, alpacas...etc, it was a cute place. The culinary school sounds great...let us know if you go. Welcome...Jamie Ann
