Hello There Dear Farm Girls!
I am so excited to be a member of this wonderful group! I heard about MaryJane's Farm from sweet katmom-Grace. She brought this fine group to my attention because my REAL name is Maryjane and wondered if I was a member! Checked out the website and fall in love! My Grandparents were both raised on family farms in Maywood, MO. I loved their gentle ways and simple joys of life. I learned so much from my Grandmother...cooking, sewing, love for family and Jesus! I still have a sweet apron she made me when I was a newly wed (36 years ago)! It is a half apron with a towel attached! She crocheted so many precious things for me also. As a little girl I had a 2nd. cousin Jeanette as a pen-pal. She lived on my Grandmothers family farm and we wrote for many years until she passed away a couple years ago. Learned a lot from my sweet farm girl cousin. My husband Don and I raised 4 wonderful children and we now are blessed so far with 10 Grandchildren. I love to sew, garden & scrapbook! I have a cute 1957 Jewel Vintage Travel Trailer (13 ft. long hehehe!), decorated inside with pink cowgirl decor! Love to go camping with girlfriends that have these cute oldies, like katmom-Grace! I sleep so good in my trailer on my little feather bed! I am grateful for the farm girl blood that runs through my veins. Very excited to get to know you all!

Welcome, Maryjane! I think it's so great that you're a "Sister on the Fly!" I fly fish, too - but in Utah - not much traveling around for me. Once I fished in King's Canyon (CA) and LOVED it, and I can just imagine the fun you all have...I just know you'll love the gals here - they are all true treasures. Enjoy!!!

Welcome to the group Maryjane! That is so neat that you belong to the sisters on the fly with the vintage trailers. I dont have a trailer yet but one day I will have a vintage one or a teardrop to go sight seeing across the country!!

Welcome, Maryjane! You will definitely fit in here on this site! I have a question....you belong to a group of women that have the old 1950's campers, was your group ever featured in Country Home or Country Living a while back? I remember reading an article about these campers and the photos were really neat! Looked like a lot of fun! |

Welcome, Maryjane! I love the sound of your trailer. My grandparents had one that my grandmother fixed up like a gypsy wagon inside. We always had great times when we stayed with them. Glad you've joined us!!

For the ladies asking about the trailer (canned ham) yes, Mary Jane & I are members of Sisters-on-the Fly, an all ladies fishing group that is nation wide.
MJ be sure to post some pic's of your 13' Jewel.

Your trailer sounds wonderful,I saved the article from Country Living magazine about the women and their vintage trailers. Still hoping to come across the right little trailer someday. |

Welcome and so glad Katmom sent you our way! Your trailer sounds wonderful and just downright adorable! I also enjoy scrapbooking though at this point it is very much in the learning stages  . I look forward to getting to know you better and hearing more about your gardens, scrapbooks, sewing projects, and travels! Oh and we LOVE pictures here, so do post some of that trailer when you get the chance! See you round the farm!
