Posted - Apr 03 2007 : 3:39:33 PM Thought I'd drop in, say "hi" and introduce myself. I live in north Florida, near Tallahassee (20 miles or so) - in the country, but not far enough out. My family has 6 dogs, 2 cats (1 inside), 2 pet rabbits, 2 inside pet birds, freshwater fish, 2 goats, 5 pet ducks, turkeys and a bunch of chickens. Anybody want some SilkieXfrizzle bantam crosses?
We're planning on going into the turkey raising business soon - small time, of course.
I like to read, surf the net, garden, do needlework, quilt, bake, and can stuff like jams and bread and butter pickles. Also do a lot of dehydrating. Recently, I've started developing an interest in shooting sports(archery, modern rifles, and blackpowder). I also recently took a Introduction to Fly Fishing class at BOW this past weekend and am looking forward to learning more about it.
It's nice to read everyone's posts. |

It sounds like you have quite the menagerie at your place! I can't wait to get to know you better through the forums. You also seem to have a lot of really interesting hobbies. Are you just doing target practice with your archery or do you hunt as well?
