I stumbled across this fabulous site by accident! What a happy little accident!

I have never lived on a farm, but when I was a child, we did have a large garden and some chickens...
Can that count? :)

I guess I am just a hopeful farmgirl. I haven't had time to completely throw myself into all the wonderful things here, but am so happy to get started. I cannot wait to get to know everyone and load myself up with all kinds of information.

Arizona... Peoria... Hmm... Not REAL conducive to "farming" (?), at least not so much in my itty-bitty backyard, but I am hoping to start a small vegetable/herb garden soon! And I can just tell I am going to find ALL sorts of inspiration here for that and other fun stuff to incorporate into our family's lives.

Now I suppose I should go explore!
:)

Welcome, Paige! I'm like you- grew up on a farm and have dreams of one in the future. But, I'm still a farmgirl and so are you! It's not where you are, it's how you think! Glad you found us.

Hi Paige,

I lived for awhile in Phoenix. Gardening season's a bit different there. We had a garden, but everything came up mini-sized. I laughed about the "concentrated" garden. Lacked size, but definitely had flavor. Hope you have a good time chatting here. Looking forward to getting to know you.

We make a difference.

Welcome, Paige! We're all 'hopeful' farmgirls here. Some of us have a little land, some have a lot. We all manage to grow stuff, no matter what!
