Hi everybody! My husband and I moved to western Nebraska a couple of years ago to get my grandfather's ranch up and running again. We are both native Nebraskans. I grew up in a town of about 30,000 people and now the closest town of any size is 6,000 people and 30 miles away. I'm getting used to it, but miss having folks to talk to. I don't have any livestock yet, unless you count the hubby. We also have a black lab and two farm cats. I look forward to learning from and chatting with all you farmgirls!

Too cute with the hubby comment!

Welcome and so very glad you found us!! You will have plenty of "talk" and sharing and friendship here! I think it is wonderful that you are reviving your grandfather's ranch and I can't wait to hear more about it! I hope you find the connection you are looking for here and I look forward to getting to know you better as I see you 'round!
Hugz!

Hi sunshine 78. My mom lives out at Lake McConahay. Her name in Nancy Broers everyone knows her. If you don't know her she loves company and will welcome you to her house any time. Do you live close to Ogallala?

Wow! Thank you for the warm welcome. I actually am near Lewellen. It is beautiful country. I do have a lot of hobbies. In fact I am a charter member of the yarn addicts annonymous club. I crochet, knit a little, love to read-but it has to be educational, scrapbook, sew, and I just got a Cannon Rebel camera so photography is in there too. I hope to hear what all you gals like to do as well. Oh- almost forgot, love to antique!
