Posted - Feb 23 2007 : 12:13:14 PM Hi, I'm ellery and I just discovered Mary Janes Farm...where have I been? I love to garden, especially herb growing. Beadweaving is another passion of mine, and I am discovering the wonderful world of fabric (even though I don't sew very well.) I grew up in Virginia but I currently live in Louisville, KY. I try to get home for a visit though whenever I can. I'm looking forward to catching up on all the goodies I've missed over the years.

Posted - Mar 02 2007 : 05:12:51 AM Joe Huber's is a great place. We haven't been there since Debs and her husband visited us last summer but we intend to go back. It's beautiful and the food is great but it's a little hard to find! |

Posted - Feb 25 2007 : 12:47:53 PM Welcome Ellery (like others, I love your name)! I had visited Kentucky very briefly, mostly driving through, throughout my life but last Spring spent a weekend there at Frannie's and a group of wonderful women. I fell in love with Kentucky to the point that dh tried to figure out a way to get a transfer there. No such luck, but at least we live close enough that, when the house is finished and some things clear up for us, we can make some short trips there every few months. What a beautiful state.
Oops, got off track a bit. I'm so glad you found this site and hope to see lots of you!
