Hello.........I joined this mailing list almost a year ago and lived in Washington State at the time. Have moved just a couple months ago to Colorado Springs and am looking for new friends and any useful area info. So far, have loved the areas I've visited, but never seen this much snow. It's amazing! I worked as a respite care provider and photographer in Wa. Am now looking into info on horse breeding and still work on my photos. Thank you.

Rebecca

Hi Rebecca! I just joined the forum last week. I feel like I found my home here. I have been reading and reading. I am north of you in Loveland. I love the Colorado Springs area; it is beautiful. My best friend lives there near Garden of the Gods. I hope to get down there a lot this summer.

Hi Rebecca, and welcome to Colorado and MJF! I live just east of Pueblo, so I'd love to meet up with you sometime! Like Jaime said, maybe we can all get together as well. I'm looking forward to getting to know you! I'm so happy to have a Farmgirl nearby! Hugs, Lu

Welcome Rebecca! My brother lives in Colorado and he said had to escape the snow by going to Utah for a week!! I am sure that where you are will provide you with many opportunities for some beautiful photographs! That's how my brother broke his leg- trying to get one last shot! Slid right down a slope and wham! (Maybe I shouldn't have told you that!)
Glad you found us.

Hi Rebecca,
I'm from WA & my son lived for 2 years in Co.Springs area serving for our Church.
My folks just moved in Nov. from CA to Loveland....just in time for all the snow.
I hope you're adjusting well.

Hi Rebecca. Welcome! We have friends who live right on the top of the ridge opposite Pikes Peak. There is so much to see and do in that area, you could keep busy for 2 or 3 years just doing nothing but doing! Enjoy! I hope you get to set up like you want to. For "doing", there's skiing, hiking, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, James Dobsons Family Focus, another mansion (near Dobson's, can't remember the name of it, I believe it has the word "castle" in it. The Royal Gorge is near. I love that country. Also have friends up above Denver. Enjoy your new local.

May the good Lord take a likin' to ya!

Rebecca, where in C.S. are you? I use to live in the Broadmor. As for Puget Sound, my husband's cousin, Sarah, swims for UPS! How neat!

Hey girl! Welcome!
We love Colorado Springs! We have family there and visit once a year. Maybe I'll have to look up the local farmgirls there next time I visit!

Hi Rebecca!! My uncle lives in colorado..as well as a couple other farmgirls here..you have really had the snow this year!! We have had our share here in Utah..but really more cold than snow. It will be fun to get to know you here.
Did you know you can go to the top of the page where it says profile and click on the word and then you can edit your profile to say where you are really from now?? I am just figuring out stuff myself and so if you already knew that..sorry.
I am glad you are here!!

Welcome Rebecca. I can only imagine the snow where you are, been seeing it on the news this winter. A little too much for me. Hopefully you can post some of your photos. We'd love to see them. Hope to hear more from you.
