I can't tell you all how wonderful it was to find the magazine and now the website. This is just what I have been looking for: women who find life exciting, wonderous, and energizing. I must say I don't currently live on a farm, but I do my best to make my front yard look like I do. I do live in a small agricultural-based community, however living gently and eating well still mean "don't get in a bar fight and bring me the 2# steak. I was raised on a farm, and will go back to a farm just as soon as $$ allow this to happen. I currently restore quilts for sentimental people. I am also a teacher. I love living life! Looking forward to meeting all of you! Thanks already!

OK, I have now been a member for approximately 24 hours! I have already met a woman who lives just 6 miles south of me, made arrangements to give a lonely book a home, and spent nearly 3 hours reading about all you wonderful people. Thanks so much!
