Posted - Jan 26 2007 : 08:54:09 AM I hope the other aunts here won't mind another aunt joining. I signed up for this forum in September the day my nephew Joey was born.
I guess it is time I joined in. I really enjoy this forum and all of the wisdom you all have shared.
DH and I have 1.62 acres outside a small town in Idaho. We just got our farm in July of last year and have so many plans!
I enjoy your blogs as well. Here's the addy for mine if you want to take a peek. There are pictures of our place and lots of friends and family - especially my grandson!!

I haven't been able to add much lately as my computer is acting up when I try to load pictures, but hopefully that will change soon.
Anyway, hello!!!

Posted - Jan 27 2007 : 2:30:32 PM Oh Karen this is just crazy, huh??? I lived in Marysville all my life, well till I was 18 and then moved to Sacramento. Back in caveman time when I was in High School, YCHS was considered our rivals. Are they still the "Honkers"? We'd always have a big parade with floats, bands, etc, for the Big-Little football game. Great Times! This is so great to have someone here on the forum from my "back home"! Talk to ya soon, Lu

Posted - Jan 27 2007 : 2:20:29 PM Luzy, ain't it a small world! We lived in Yuba City for 10 years before relocating to Idaho (actually my DH lived there for nearly 25 years, I lived there for 10). All of our children graduated from YCHS (3 girls and 1 boy). My mom and step-dad live in Woodland and that is where I graduated HS (a LONG time ago!).
Thanks again for the very warm welcome! Big hugs back to you all!!!
