Hi all,
I grew up on a working farm in upstate New York — cows, chickens, pigs, horses, one surly old goat, you name it — and loved every minute of it. Miss the animals, the fresh vegetables, the open space...wish I could give the same to my little ones. (How they love to visit Grandma and Grandpa on the farm!) One day...
On a side note: I happen to be working on a writing project right now in the D.C./Northern Virginia/Maryland-area and think this site would make a great story. Anyone from around there who wouldn't mind telling me a bit about why you joined? I can be reached this address or baileydog71@yahoo.com.
