Hi everybody,

Hubby and I are in the process of trying to sell our current home and we will be moving to the country to a couple of acres. We had the land cleared yesterday so that we can put in a modular home soon. We are just waiting for our house to sell so we can get the home ordered that we have already picked out.

Hubby had three heart attacks this summer with three stents. It was a big suprise to us because he was just 42 and had no health issues. Long story short is that he wont be able to do his current mostly outside job and he wound up getting transferred to just an office position. This has given us the opportunity to re-evaluate our lifes and we decided to buy 2 wooded acres from my brother and move out near him and my parents. We are starting from scratch pretty much so it is going to be an adventure for us. I know that we will have a big garden that we will share with the other family members and probably some chickens. I am not sure what else we might do but we we will just play it by ear. I cant wait to move out onto our own little homestead. I am sure I will be asking lots of questions of you ladies as this thing unfolds.

Thanks

Shelle

Welcome Shelle! I am glad you found us...you will love it here. A couple acres in the woods sounds so nice! Weird how life sends us off in directions we hadn't planned. I hope your husband enjoys good health now. It will be great to get to know you here.
