Posted - Jan 07 2007 : 6:47:36 PM Hi! I am from a small town (pop. approx. 1400) in SW Missouri. I currently live in town with my husband and child(ren). Children vary in number as my husband and I are foster parents. I have two sons of my own (both teenagers!). I LOVE this site and the MJF magazine. I am looking forward to talking with you all. |

Posted - Jan 07 2007 : 10:19:28 PM Hey Amber, Welcome! So nice to have you join the group. I visited Missouri-from east to west-last summer. Stayed with friends just south of Joplin. I'm looking forward to hearing about your life in a small town (how wonderful!), and about your experiences being a foster Mom-and a regular Mom too! :) Again welcome to the farm! Rhonda

Posted - Jan 07 2007 : 9:19:27 PM Welcome, Amber. What an awesome responsibility and privilege...to be foster parents. I admire you and anyone else here that is a foster parent. You will feel right at home here.

Posted - Jan 07 2007 : 7:21:05 PM WElcome Amber!! I am glad you found us!! I have been a foster parent over the yrears too..isn't it rewarding? (for the WHOLE family!) We have adopted enough kids now that we don't have the space for more foster kids but sure don't rule that out in the future again someday. I just know you will love it here and it will be so fun to get to know you!!
