I've been to Florida a few times and my oldest son lives there. Helen was a unique place to visit. There is a nice winery there too :)

Welcome Michelle! I love Helen, GA and have visited it many times over the last 28 years. I have good friends that live in Eastanollee. I explore all the surrounding towns while we were there last time. I love the German bakery in downtown Helen. That is a must try if you love good food.

Have you ever been to Florida?

Hearty welcome from henquarters in Idaho, a long way from Georgia in miles but not friendship. Hope you enjoy finding your way around our chatroom.

Sounds good! I love almost any kind of project...crafts, gardening, crochet, making soap, etc. We explored the Gainesville area last fall and also Dahlonega and Helen. What pretty areas!

Hi Michelle from sunny Gainesville, Florida! Maybe you can start a separate post here for Georgia Farmgirls to check in and see who lives close to one another . You could see if people want to email each other from here and see about a potential gathering. I know there are many Farmgirls in Georgia but not sure how close they are to each other. What sorts of projects do you enjoy doing? I would love to hear more about your interests!
