Posted - Jun 07 2016 : 04:36:04 AM Hi Krista, I actually just moved away from Salt Lake City back to Minnesota. I am a geochemist working for a mineral exploration company, my husband is also a geologist for the same company which keeps us busy and traveling frequently - but it's all very exciting. Salt Lake was a beautiful place to live so much geology to see and I do miss the mountains. But I traded mountain views for a quiet lake view.

Posted - Jun 06 2016 : 04:55:45 AM Thank you so much for all the warm welcome messages!! My husband and I just moved back to MN after 5 years away in Salt lake City. We are both thrilled to be back in Minnesota - our home! My hobbies are a myriad of crafting (I blame my home-ec teaching mom): sewing, quilting, embroidery, punch needle, cross stitch, nearly everything that involves a needle and thread I guess :) I also planted a very small vegetable garden in pots for the year and lovely picked my first fresh salad yesterday! There is a special taste to food you have grown yourself. My husband and I are also looking forward to collecting maple sap and boiling for maple syrup and next summer - bee keeping! In my professional life I am a geologist - I've always had a rock collection, so it only seemed natural! My hubby and I don't have any kids.....yet......if I could make up my mind and be healthy long enough (I'm plagued with some ongoing back issues) maybe we would, I know my mom is sure eager as I'm an only child. I look forward so much to getting to know all of you too! Now.......I must go dig my needle and thread into my adorable farmgirl sisterhood patch.
