Hi my name is Mary. I have my own business. I sell custom pillows, tots bags. N pretty collar shirts. My specialty is embroidery. I do all my embroidery on a brother machine. And I sew together all my pillows tote bags, on antique Singer sewing machines. I buy antique sewing machine and fix them up and use them in my business. I like using old sewing machine reminds me of the past. And the women who sewed on them. I like to sew, quilt, beadwork, card making. N cooking. N photography.
I have three boys 19, 18, 15, one with special needs. My oldest is leaning disable. N my middle guy is shy. N my 15 year old is going on thirty. Lol.
I learned about this sight from my friend Connie she sold me a vintage singer sewing machine a 15 91 and I love it. She's an incredible woman and I am glad she's in my life.
Well everyone have a beautiful day. PS that's me in the black n white with the cat.

Welcome mary! Love the pictures. You must work on the shutterbug merit badge! Especially like photo of the old singer, looks like the one i have from the picture. I like your way to appreciate the women who used these old machines- there is a certain energy to them. Im thinking about getting another sewing machine seems you like your brother. Haven't checked on one that embroderies thinking about it since my stroke harder to do hand work now. Is there a certain one you would recommend? Would love to see pics of your quilts! I am also a quilter.
Look forward to getting to know you better.

Welcome, Mary! Thank you for sharing your pictures! I am still "afraid" to try embroidery on my Brother (and that is exactly why I bought it...besides quilting). I love the pic of your machines in the window. You will love this site! So happy Connie told you about it! I'll check out your fb.
