Posted - Jan 06 2007 : 1:01:50 PM I've been reading posts over the past day and thought now would be a good time to say hi! I'm Victoria and I live in suburban North Texas with my husband and children. We are planning to buy some land in a couple of years so I'm practicing being a farmgirl on my 1/5th of an acre.
We have been able to grow some of our own vegetables and last year I experimented with my first garlic crop. I've also been slowly planting herbs and hope to expand what I have this year.
I love to cook, sew, and almost anything else that is a traditional home art.
Looking forward to getting to know y'all!

Posted - Jan 07 2007 : 06:34:33 AM Welcome Victoria. I'm sure you'll love being here. I love gardening and growing my own herbs too. I have a bunch under grow lights here in the basement right now. You'll have fun planning and dreaming what you'll do with the acreage you plan to buy in the future.

Posted - Jan 06 2007 : 1:09:14 PM Welcome Victoria. How many kids and what are their ages? Me myself have 6, well, really 5 with one son-in-law. I laugh and tell my husband we are the new generation of the Brady Bunch. I really have only 3 kids of my own but I love his kids like they were my own. Makes any sense? Wish you the best on buying your land. Laura www.2lmzfarms.blogspot.com 3 barrels,2hearts,1passion |
