I didn't give much of an introduction, I realize. We are located in New Brunswick, Canada.

My husband is on an early retirement for LONG detailed reasons but physically he's able to do things still... the simple farm life is great for us... The kids are loving it so far (they are 12, 5 and 3)... Our farm is 88 acres of hay and heaven... :) We love it there. The "home" is a mini home which we plan to add onto as quickly as we can since there are 5 of us living in it... and I'd kind of like to add one more to that number eventually! ;)

We plan to raise Shetland ponies, Shetland Sheep and Shetland Sheepdogs. The horse is my daugheters (that we already have) and unbroken so any info on that would be appreciated too... The other horse is a cross draft and we're trying to sell her - long story. We have had our Sheltie (dog) for 5 years now and not sure we'll breed him but possibly go get a couple others. My husband's family was some of the first sheltie breeders in the U.S. (He is from Ohio originally). We have 2 Shetland sheep right now... one which we hope will be lambing in the next few weeks... hard to tell though!

Anyway, check out my web site www.zetlandfarm.com if you like.... Thanks for the welcome!
