Hello. I am new here.
I live in Virginia.
We live in the city now; but we own some farm land and are planning on building our retirement home soon.
We have been married going on 31 years.
I was born in the country, lived on a small farm.
Moved to a county, it was country then, in the second grade.
The farmers in that area started selling their land. and now that place is crowded
The place where I grew up until I was in second grade is still small.
I am a country farm girl waiting to get back in the country.
My hushand will be rasing cattle. we have 3 head on the family farm. 3 brothers and another one later will be there on the family farm divided between 4 brothers.
Any hows I am glad I am here.
I have the first book I think it is of Farm girl.
I want the Stiching Room one too and made the Wisdom and inspration one. PINKROSES

Thanks for the warm welcome.

The reason I picked pinkroses. was because I do like pink, and roses. so there that is how it came to be.

I loved the country and can't wait to get back in it.
Thank again for the warm welcome. Pinkroses.

Welcome Sheila!
I love pink roses too! We moved into this house 3 years ago and I inherited 6 pink rose bushes that the lady who lived here for 40 years grew. It is a privilege to be their caretaker now!
You will love it here!

Hello, Sheila! It kind of tugs at the ol' heartstrings to see beautiful open farmland give way to concrete, asphalt and automobiles, doesn't it?

This is a very warm, welcoming group of farmgirls. I think you'll like it here.
