I'm so excited to have found this site. My daughter told me about it. We are both Farmgirls who transplanted to WA from Illinois about 20 years ago. We both lived in the city until recently when my daughter moved to 5 acres and then I moved to my own 5 acres in March. We're both so glad to be back out in the country. I haven't gotten the magazine yet but have ordered the new book!! And I'm starting a Farmgirls chapter for gals in our area. I live in La Center, WA (just north of Vancouver/Portland) and we're calling ourselves "Farmgirls of North Clark County". If there's anybody in my area that wants to join our chapter just let me know.

Hello Kay, welcome to Maryjanes farm web-site, you WILL love it here. Im happy for you on your 5 acres. I live on the east coast, dont have my acres YET! In N.J. its quite expensive. Were thinking of Vermont eventually. But welcome, looking forward to getting to know you. Michele

Hi, Kay!

I'm in Washington State, too - I grew up in Pullman, WA not far from MaryJane's Farm, and now live near Indianola WA - where I'm working on getting a Farmgirl chapter started. Welcome to the farmgirl family!

When you get your chapter started, please consider sharing ideas with our chapter! You can just e-mail me if interested. Eventually, we could even start a sister chapter network for Washington State!
