Hello everyone I am so glad to find that forum since I have been living in the country for a while and plan to take hobby farm soon when my lil ones go to school.

I am deaf, stay at home mother to two lil girls (age 3,1) and expecting another baby on the way in May (defintely last one! lol ) I do some freelance graphic design as a side job at home. I graduated from Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and moved here from PA 3 yrs ago due to my husband's job (high school teacher at deaf institute school)

I enjoy knitting, baking, making jams/others etc, reading, painting, hiking, and animal caretaker.

look forward to meet y'all!

I've never been to Georgia but hope to take my kids there as part of our homeschooling. Traveling's learning, right?

Welcome Jamie, from a fellow Georgia gal!! I have a 20 year-old son who is deaf. He is in his last year at the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf. We are hoping that he will be able to get a job and work next year. (He also has other disabilities.) We have friends who live in Rome and run a store on 84 Hwy. (It's a produce store.)
You are going to fit right in here!!
