Hi! I was looking at the merit badge requirements and I noticed some of the tasks are very specific. I wondered how closely you have to stick to the specified tasks!
For instance the Lend A Hand To Farm Families" badge requirement says to "Help a farm family in need by learning to feed their farm animals, or do some clean up for six hours total. Keep a journal of your activities and what you’ve learned." I helped a farm family today by helping trim their goats' hooves, which was quite a task because they have 11 goats! Would this task count towards this merit badge, or would it not count because I wasn't specifically feeding animals or cleaning up?
Thanks!

Nicki,
I agree with Winnie. Send your inquiry to Brian, his email is: brianogle@maryjanesfarm.org
Describe to him what you've done. I've found that sometimes there is some flexibility, but it's best to clarify that with him.
He'll be able to help you!
