Posted - Apr 09 2015 : 08:19:04 AM I joined the sisterhood back in September of last year but have been a little shy about joining all the chat fun. I'm a musician but am taking time off for awhile to care for family. I love cooking, critters, creating and learning about my new Farmville sisters! Blessings!

Posted - Apr 09 2015 : 3:45:57 PM Wow! I'm so happy to hear from everyone! A couple of people have asked about my music. I am a songwriter, singer and play most of the fretted strings (guitar, banjo, ukulele, etc.), piano and a few other random instruments. For the past 30 years I've been in a duo called Danaher & Cloud, playing what can be described as Americana music aka roots music. We have a website wwwdanaherandcloud.com if anyone wants to hear a sample. Thanks for being interested, and especially for the warm welcome!

So glad you chimed in; I was part of the sisterhood for 2 years before I joined!
I see you are in Wilmington. I am in Honey Brook (about 45 min from you). I am starting a farmgirl chapter for our area and would love to have you join us! We're thinking of meeting on the 1st Saturday of the Month around lunch time. We have a variety of things we'd like to do. If you would send me your email I can include you on our list. My email is heirloomconsulting@yahoo.com.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Posted - Apr 09 2015 : 08:32:30 AM Welcome, Amy. I am just over the line a ways in Oxford, PA. I hope you enjoy being a part of the Sisterhood. There is just so much to learn and so many really interesting people to encounter here. I thought about joining the Sisterhood for a long LONG time before I actually did it. Really needed something to shake up my doldrums -- I am a fiber person and had been knitting and knitting and knitting and knitting some more. The sweaters are wonderful, but I was spending all my time knitting or thinking about knitting or talking to other people about knitting. Since becoming a Farmgirl Sister, I have been working on some merit badges -- specifically in areas that are NOT knitting -- ha ha ha. So pour yourself a cup of whatever and cruise the forums for a while -- I am sure you will find plenty of interesting things and interesting people.
