Sister #6227 reporting in from the Acreage in West Palm Beach, Florida!

I received a mailer advertising Mary Jane's magazine and how amazing among the endless piles of junk we get in our mailbox, this one found its way into my hands and into my heart. I sent my return request for my subscription back the same day. As soon as my first issue arrived, I signed up to become a Sister.

My husband and I bought our home last February. We have a small cottage on an acre of land and have begun homesteading with six chickens and a little raised herb bed. I make soap, crochet, cook, pickle eggs, garden and dabble in any and every crafty thing I can get my hands on.

I have three step-daughters all away from home and in college. In addition to our six hens, we have two dogs, one kitchen fish and occasionally find turtles, baby gators, herons, owls, hawks and osprey visiting our land.

We love our little piece of farm-life and I can not wait to share, learn and grow with you all! Yeehaw!

Welcome Gina, your place sounds wonderful. I too found MaryJane through an ad for her magazine in my mail box and my life is better for it.
