I picked up the lastest issue of the magazine the other day and loved all of the apron patterns and can't wait to make one or two. I remember talking my grandma into making me one just like her's when she lived on the farm but that was a very long time ago. So I looked up the website and found this great forum.

My husband and I have been married for 27 years this coming December and have 2 children both attending the University of Nebraska.

I love to crochet and quilt. I read alot, too, mostly mysteries.

I hope to make some great new friend.

Welcome Denise! Where in Nebraska are you. My family is from Orleans (south central) by Alma. Half the town are my relatives and it is my favorite place in the whole world. My great grandmother was born in a dugout in Beaver City. I just love Nebraska!!! Glad you could join us!

Hi Denise, and welcome! The apron magazine is one of my favorites (but then, all the ones I have are favorites!). Isn't it wonderful to find such a kind spirited group as these farmgirls?

Glad you found us, Denise. There are many wise and wonderful ladies on this forum. You will like it here. I am into mysteries, too. I like All the Alex Cross ones by James Patterson and the Prey books by Sandeford. Robert Parker too.
