Welcome Susan!

So glad you joined us. Looks like you have delved into fiber arts. I have a dream of having sheep, sheering, spinning, knitting some day. Someone gave me an antique pair of sheep sheers from New Zealand. They sit on my china cabinet (kind of a funny place for them now that I think about it :-) ) and remind me of that dream. Perhaps someday...would love to hear some of your adventures in this area!

Enjoy The Connection,

Dena

Thanks so much again for the warm welcome! Hubby is doing much better and his incisions have healed much better than expected. Thank you again for the thoughts and prayers!

Catherine, yes college football is a huge thing here for sure, lol... Since I haven't lived here my whole life I'm neither an Alabama or Auburn fan, meaning that I just root for the state (Alabama or Auburn) when they are playing some other team. I'm more of an NFL kindofa gal. :) However, I will say that if Alabama is playing Auburn, then I do root for Alabama. haha! Roll Tide & War Eagle!

Welcome Susan! You'll have a blast here.

My son-in-law is from the Florence area. I love my 'Bama' boy.

I hear sports is as big in Alabama as it is here in Texas. I don't know which team you're a fan of but with this new son-in-law it's 'Roll Tide' around here.

One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt."

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've been away from the computer for a few days so I'm just now checking in. Husband had surgery on Monday so we've been on the road quite a bit this week. Glad to be here! :)
