Hi Mary Jane! Thanks for the welcome back, I just enjoy it here so much and I love your town, Moscow Idaho. I went through it on my honeymoon and fell in love, there is such a good feeling to it. We went back a few years later and loved it just as much. I am so glad you like my banner, it reminds me of the pretty grassy fields in Montana and Idaho

Hi Katmom!
Yes I am close to Lancaster Palmdale, in between Santa Clarita and Palmdale, right in the middle, our claim to fame is Vasquez Rocks, google it, such a pretty place about 5 minutes from home. would love to get back to Spokane one day. I need to get my SOTF membership, it is going to be my Xmas present to me from me LOL I love shopping in Ventura, use to do it a lot before kid. I use to collect labels from fruit boxes, got some pretty ones up there. If you are ever in Quartz Hill give me a call and stop in for a visit. I use to work in Ventura too, my territory was there, was a great place to work, but that was many years ago, I know where the government center is, I had to go there once for something...
chat soon!

Hey Lisa, I think you are down by Quartz Hill?
My M.I.L. moved down near that area... We drive down occasionally to visit her.

I worked at the Government Centr., in Ventura before I retired 8yrs ago.
I luv shopping California & Main st... in Ventura...

There are a lot of SO.CAL gals that are SOTF members...

I don't fly fish, I am a 'plunker'... in other words, just cast, and keep my fingers crossed I don't catch anything... so I don't have to clean & cook... lol! I prefer to catch & release... But truth be known, I have not cast my line in 5-6 years...lol!
Just having way to much fun being silly! :>)

Hi Katmom! Wow I did not realize there were so many SOTFs in So. Calif. How cool is that!! I just went through Clovis in August on our way to Huntington Lake. Where are you at? I am in a little town outside of Santa Clarita called Agua Dulce, I go to Ventura a lot, especially in the summer when it is blazing hot at home or if there is a fire to get out of the smoke ..cough cough...I am def. signing up, cuz I am gonna need all the help I can get with my little project, but I am so excited. I have been looking for a few years now, and I just stumbled on to this one 2 weeks ago. My friend was in Ventura last year, and I think it must have been a SOTF gathering, she got to check out all the trailers etc, she had a ball, her husband was worried she had spent about 6 hours looking at trailers having fun.Heading over to see your blog posts now, can hardly wait. Yes I will start blogging this project in mid January after the holidays. This is the crazy time of year for me, my daughters b day, and holidays...go go go!!! After I look at your blog, heading over to SOTF site to see what I can find out, see where the nearest chapter is to me...do you fly fish? I did so for the first time 2 years ago and loved it, haven't been back to do it again but would love to!
Thank you for the welcome!! So cool!!!

oh and the little stool, I found at a Thrift for a couple of dollars... so I decopage'd on a layer of fabric..I searched the internet for Roy & Dale photos.. printed them, sprayed a light coat of poly-seal and then decoupage'd the photos ontop of the fabric...and sealed it w/several coats of poly-urethane... and glued on some red rhinestones (which barely show in the photo.)...
It was fun...
If you go to my other blog, (the little trailer) aka Graciesvictorianrose... and go quit a few (lots)pages back,,, you will see posts of SOTF gatherings over the past 7 years.
I can hardly wait to see your blog postings of your trailer...
Happy Trails!

Hey Lisa...
I was at a SOTF lunch meet-up today, over in Clovis, CA. (near Fresno)...
A lot of us are going to the 'SOTF~ California Dreaming' June 2015 over in Ventura CA... it will be at the Fairground, and about 175-ish of us... There are soooo many trailer gatherings,,, I would have to win the Lottery to be able to afford all of the events! lol!
Yes, do sign up... and the gals are uber helpful about anything and everything on trailers and repairs and decoration and , well everything.
Congrats on the '66 Kenskill... Way kool! Oh and they all need work,, haha! the trailer purchase is the cheap part...lol!

Hi Katmom! Wow I love your stool! Yes you need to make a banner to match, mine is out of paper and it was actually used for my moms 75th vintage cowgirl party. She loved it.Did you make your stool? It is so cute.
Funny you should ask about SOTF, I just purchased a 1966 Kenskill trailer, she needs some work, well a lot but that's ok. I am going to become a member of SOTF now, I just think they are so cool and now that I have a trailer, it will be a good time to do so! Your blog is great, cool scarves made out of the old sweaters, I love repurposed items. I will be blogging on my trailer starting in January, too much going on right now. I hope you will comeback and visit again soon! Keep in touch!
