Welcome Mary! We have alot in common, and I am glad you chose to come hang out here! Alaska is one place I have always thought would be fun to visit some day. It wil be fun to get to know you!

Inside me there is a skinny girl crying to get out, but I can usually shut her up with cookies.

Welcome, Mary! I love how you listed your birth history. It was one of the questions I had in my mind. I was reading and stopped..."hmmm, 7 children, I wonder if there were any home births...." Then, I continued reading and you answered my thought! Funny.

I want to hear more.

One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt."

Hi Mary,
I too am creative. Decoupage is my favorite but also I love to work with ribbon, fabric, hankies & buttons. Trying new casseroles & making seasonal dessert... Just made a fresh Strawberry Pi for my Mother's 84 B'day yesterday. I too am a semi introvert but once I get comfortable around friends I too can talk your ear off. I also have lived in more than one place, well only 2, Calif & Washington. May be moving to Montana in 5 or 10 years.

Hello Mary, way up there in Alaska, from me way down here in Florida! So happy to meet you and travel along with you and all of your adventures. Indeed you have been quite busy the past 19 years. Whew! Establishing your homestead on The Last Frontier sounds like a full time job. You will have to post photos of your beautiful surroundings as you get established.

Welcome to the MaryJane Connection and I look forward to hearing more from you!
