Well, I'm hoping to get myself back on track. You know those crazy seasons in life that seem like they will never end? Yes, that would be the last few years. After my Dad passed away a year ago, I have spent the last year wobbling, fumbling, dazed and frustrated. I need my feet back firmly on the ground. I need to trust in myself and the Lord guiding me. I need to find my pace again.
So, in honor of new beginnings. Finding yourself again, and life...here I go again. Off to decide which merit badge (area of growth) I want to pick up with starting now.

HI Melissa,
Welcome back! Life certainly does send a lot of "hiccups" for us to deal with!

Welcome back Melissa! I too, took a long hiatus after my father died. It was definitely a season of growth that wasn't always comfortable. Suddenly this spring the sewing bug hit me again, then the urge to reconnect. I wish you all the best and hope we cross paths here again!

Melissa,
Have been there the last couple of years myself. So glad you decided to come back. It will help tremendously to focus on the learning and accomplishment of the badges.
Welcome back.

hugs,

Welcome back Melissa! Life does give us some painful twists and turns sometimes. I think your idea of getting started on a few badges that address some interests is a great way to start learning new things and feeling that sense of accomplishment. Plus, there are so many badge areas to choose from that there will be something that strikes your fancy for a jumping off point. Good Luck and I look forward to seeing your name listed every month for the badge earners!

Welcome Melissa, I just recently signed up to be a farmgirl. I understand how you have been feeling when circumstances happen. I have been feeling that way for different reasons and I mined to move forward and like you I am ready for growth. I encourage you as you work through that and I will be right along with you.
Blessings.
