Welcome, Lenora! I was wracking my brain last night trying to figure out where I had heard about Poplar Bluff before. I finally did a little research and realized that that was where one of my favorite old TV characters came from! Charlene from "Designing Women!" LOL! I'd love to hear more about where you live!
