Hi there...My name is Becky! I have been reading everyone's posts and checking out everyone blogs/websites and everything is GREAT! I saw Mary Jane in a country magazine and I checked out her website and here I am!! So I guess I need to tell you a little bit about me - I am a single mom with a 24 year old daughter. I moved back home approx 4-5 years ago to help take care of mom & dad and help with the domestics things in life. Now it just Dad and me along with my daughter (and our critters- cat and 5 rabbits) In my spare time I am a 4H volunteer (rabbit club) and try to go to college for occupational therapy.(I do try to get crafty sometime in there). I work full time at a peditrician office as the front desk person (offical title patient service representative)and part time at Target.

Have a great day!

No officially you have to quit at 18/19 - but I volunteer and learn in the process. Alot of the time a person teaching basket making didnt care to teach you also. But at this time I just volunteer where needed and help with the rabbit clubs

Hi Becky-Welcome. Sounds like you have lots happening right now and I love rabbits too. Can't wait to hear more from you. Are alot of adults part of 4-H? I wasn't aware that they could join. I was in 4-H when I was a kid and I loved it and Girl Scouts. Kelly

That's what makes it such a nice show I think! I did it for several years after my son was born but it got to be too much to supply at this point in the season for us. I regretted giving it up, it was quite a wait to be juried in the first place. A friend who is a jeweler does Christkindl Mart and I have gone to visit her, that is
overwhelming but great!

I didnt go the past 2 years to the Lydia guild show - but I have gone in the past. My braining is always really to bust trying to remember everybody - so i can make it a home (or try)..its neat because you have to be invited to be in the Lydia guild show - you cant just pay a fee to enter...Have you ever gone to Chriskindlemart in Bethlehem (that's another neat craft show)

Becky- Do you ever go to the Lydias Guild Show at Aldie Mansion? It started this past Thursday and runs through next Sunday. Haven't been in a while but it's really very nice with unusual things you don't see everywhere else.

If you have any questions about bunnies just ask - if I dont know I will ask my daughter or another one of the rabbit world people I know - I can probably help with sheep questions also - I babysit my best friend herd of 20 of sheep and I am trying to join up with and become a maryjane farmgirl

Hello neighbor!! We don't live that far apart. My daughter raises American Fuzzy Lop and Rhinelanders (she is just not as active till she gets her masters done)and I have one little netherland dwarf. Believe it or not my daughter is the main 4H leader and I help where needed. Officially she has outgrown 4-H but she continues to volunteer where ever needed - and she got her lab science degree from Del Val

Bramble - Have you ever tried Tabora orchards outside of Doyelestown (across from Hilltown Baptist Church on Stump Road) They also have breads and bakery items that are out of this world. They have the best sticky buns and pies to me in the world!!

Hi Becky! Glad you found us and decided to join! Lots of us were or still are involved with 4-H. I used to work in Doylestown and lived in Yardley so I know your neck of the woods. I'm near Crosswicks,NJ now but I do still get over your way since I have relatives in Coopersburg, Springtown, Gilbertsville and north. Do you know about Cross Keys Bakery and their olive bread? If not ...run, it's that good! I keep trying to duplicate it, but no luck! Anyway...good to have you here!

Welcome Becky!! We don't live to far apart,I live in Lambertville, NJ. And my daughter is in the 4-H rabbit club in Hunterdon Co. We have 4 rabbits, mini-rexs. What kind do you have? I realize your daughter has outgrown 4-H but does she help with the club? My kids are involved in 3 clubs each so we are true 4-Hers. My parents live in Doylestown so I do get your way sometimes. I got my BS at Del Val College so am a little familiar with your territory. You will love it here, everyone is great!!
