Posted - Apr 08 2014 : 5:14:18 PM So glad to make my way back to MJFC . I was here a few years ago and then LIFE...you know how it is! I am NYC born and raised, but living in NE PA for about 15 years. The kiddos are all growing up and moving out into the world (2 back in NYC ages 20 and 22; and 2 at home ages 16 and 17 this summer. I am FINALLY getting to that stage in life where my time is mine and I want to get all kinds of countrified! The area we live in is rural, but our home in just outside of town. Small property (.33 acre) but enough for the hubby and I to handle well into old age! I have done very little with our yard, but I have "dreams". Slow and steady, right! A dear friend and I are hoping to start a FarmGirl Sisterhood in the area some time this June! Hoping to meet others that want to mentor and learn together! Looking forward to re-meeting some and making new acquaintances!!

Posted - May 09 2014 : 12:38:54 PM Hi Donna,
Our one and only son is grad in June from H.S. I want and need something new and different in my life.. a new job or a move to another state??? My parents are in their 80's and are down sizing everything and moving closer to us, I wish we were closed emotionally but we are not. I am also felling a little stress out these day. I will carry on. What that saying KEEP CALM and_____________. Janice Vintage Artist
