Hi! My name is Bobbie and I am so happy to have found a site dedicated to like-minded women!
My husband and I and our five children, 2-10, live on a cattle ranch in the middle of western Montana. We homeschool and I love to bake and garden and do as much for ourselves as possible. In doing so though, we are somewhat isolated and I would love to make some friends. I look forward to getting to know you!

So happy to have you on the Farm, Bobbie. Enjoy yourself and let us know what is going on with all your little ones, too.

Hi Bobbie,
I like to cook, bake, sew and work on paper art (decoupage). My husband would like to retire and move to Montana and raise cattle.
And I hope to buy a small building and sell my art along with other antique vendors. Kind of an art and antique mall idea.
I want to call the shop Vintage Artist & Antique Friends.
For now it is just a dream.

A big Howdy from the prairies of North Dakota Bobbie! We too are calving, but no where near as many as you. I so agree with you, your state is truly beautiful. Have seen many parts of it and will have to look at the map to see where you are at. You will love the forum, there is a great bunch of ladies here.

Hugs
Julie

YakLady,
We raise Black Angus on the ranch we work for. 1500 of them. We are currently calving and have a little over 1000 babies on the ground! Martinsdale is close to White Sulphur Springs if that helps you out any.
Marilyn, your life sounds fascinating! Thank you for introducing yourself!

Hi Bobbie! I'm just 30 miles West of Missoula :) Will have to google where Martinsdale is! What kind of cattle do you raise?? Welcome to MJFC!

Welcome Bobbie! You will meet lots of great friends here and have lots of fun too! I live near Seattle. I enjoy baking, gardening, hiking, reading, papercrafting, rosemaling, tatting and needle felting. I live in a residential neighborhood but my family owns farm property about 5 miles away where we have our shop and storage area for our landscape business. I have a large fenced garden area and keep my honeybees there as well. Enjoy your time here!

Cheers! ~ Marilyn
