Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and wanted to say hi.

I'm living out of a tiny Shasta trailer in Weeki Wachee, FL. I'm originally from Massachusetts, so I'm really thankful to be in Florida this winter, because it sounds like it's been a doozy everywhere north of Florida!

About 9 months ago I left my job to go on a cross country adventure with my sweetheart and cat in the trailer. I saved up money so that I could fund myself to make art for a while, and try to figure out how to make a living wage making art. I feel really lucky and thankful to be doing this right now, and I thought Mary Jane's Connection would be a great place to meet others following their own path.

If anyone out there is making a living off of their art/craft I'd love to hear how you do it.

And, if you want to check out my Etsy shop where I create quirky custom portraits, I'd love to hear what you think. www.etsy.com/shop/PeopleYouMayMeet

I'm looking forward to exploring the forums!

Thanks, tracie

Welcome Tracie!

You sure will love it here. I am originally from MA too and am thankful that we have had a more mild winter here in Colorado :)

Welcome to Farmgirls! I just love your neck of the woods. My sister lives in Titusville, which is directly East of you. (Thank you, Google Earth.) I would love to explore Florida in a Shasta trailer! You are living my dream, girl! Make sure you do it up right.
