Posted - Feb 19 2014 : 4:26:06 PM Hello!
My name is Pam and I'm in Detroit Lakes, MN. I am a 50-something homeschooling Mom to 3 teenagers. My husband is a Ag. Mechanic for John Deere....and that is about as close to farming as we get. LOL
We live in a neighborhood and have just under an acre of land...most of it in the backyard. We have some raised beds for veggies and herbs and have plans for a lot more when we get around to it.
I stumbled across the Mary Janes Farm site and am interested in the badges, etc. My teenage daughters are also interested.
I look forward to participating in the forum and hope to make some new friends. |

Posted - Feb 21 2014 : 03:40:03 AM Hi Pam, welcome to the farm. I also don't live on a farm, maybe have a 1/4 acre, but i have hens, and lots of raised beds. Looking for bigger property to maybe add some goats, and more gardening. :) look forward to a swap with you or something.
