Hi, everyone! My name is Patricia and I'm new to MaryJanes Farm. Love the magazine and the thought of getting back to "doing" instead of just buying. I live in the 'burbs, but have always loved quilting (not very good at it, but try ), cooking from scratch and learning new things. I homeschooled my son from 3rd grade to graduation and taught him how to cook, iron his own clothes and sew on buttons (even the girls at his work are impressed with that!). Amazing how many "old" skills are being lost and I don't want to be among those losing it!

Looking forward to being part of you all.

Hi Patricia!
Welcome from New Jersey! You'll love it here. The farmgirls are full of great advice and know their stuff! Good for you for teaching your son to be independent! I've raised two sons and I've taught them the same. They know their way around the kitchen and hard workers. Someday their wives will thank us! LOL!!

Blessings~Diane

Women are angels. When someone breaks our wings, we just jump on our broomsticks and fly! We are flexible that way!
